ISO Certification 101

ISO is the International Organization for Standardization. It is an independent, non-governmental organization that develops and publishes international standards for a wide range of industries, including technology, food safety, agriculture, healthcare and others.

In order to be certified with an ISO standard, your organization must implement a management system that meets the requirements of the relevant standard and be audited by an accredited certification body. If the audit is successful, your organization will be awarded a certificate of conformity.
